Sardine Savoury Spread

Ingredients
2 cans (125 g each) Gold Seal Sardines in Water, drained
1 cup (236ml)
Cottage Cheese
1 cup (236ml)
Greek Yogurt
1/2
Juice of ½ Lemon
1 tsp (5ml)
Chives, chopped
1/2 tsp (2.5ml)
Chili Powder
4 slices
French Bread

Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Chef's Tips

    Place thinly sliced dill pickles on the sandwich for added flavour.

    Directions

    1. In a food processor combine all ingredients except bread and puree till smooth about 45 seconds to 1 minute, season with salt and pepper.
    2. Spread over one slice of bread and cover with the other slice of bread and serve.
    3. Garnish with freshly ground pepper.
