Salmon Hummus

A flavourful twist on this Middle Eastern favourite makes for a unique appetizer at your next get-together. Easy to prepare.

Ingredients
1 can (170 g) Gold Seal sockeye salmon skinless boneless
1 Tbsp Greek yogurt with honey
3 peppadews roasted red hot peppers or 1 tsp chopped hot peppers,
1 can (398mL) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
  juice of half a lemon
  salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions

    1. Puree all ingredients in a food processor for about 60-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
    2. Serve with pita chips or toasts.
