Open Face Sardine Sandwich

Ingredients
2 pcs Whole Wheat Bread, toasted
1 can (125g)
Gold Seal Sardines in soya oil, drained
½ tsp (2.5ml)
Garlic Salt
8 thin slices 
Cucumber
1
Red Pepper, cored and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp (30ml)
Cream Cheese

  • Chef's Tips

    Place some thinly sliced red onions and pitted olives on the sandwich for a beautiful change of pace.

    Directions

    1. In a small bowl combine sardines and garlic salt, stir well.
    2. Spread 1 Tbsp of cream cheese on each piece of toast, then layer cucumbers, sardines, and top with red peppers and serve.
